FXR produces snowmobile clothing and motocross clothing of the highest quality which is one of the many reasons for the great growth in FXR's ever-expanding product line. Every year new and more approved products and further development on existing popular products. In recent years, colorful clothing dominated the market sharply.
At age 17 Milt Reimer (owner of FXR) began to work part-time at a Honda and Polaris dealers in the small town of Morris about 50 km south of Winnipeg. It was there that he began to drive motocross. He continued working for 10 years at the dealership and after realizing that he really liked it that he then bought the company. Milt was hooked and knew that the retailers was just one step closer to the next project. It was over the next six years the business plan for a clothing company called FXR was created. Milt felt that no one made substantial high quality scooter clothes so he began designing a sample produced in a local factory. Initially the operation was run from the basement. FXR continued to grow and expand and 2005 produced mostly abroad. It was Milt's own experience of racing that helped developed the products with a great consideration for the right sizes, fit and ventilation adapted for snow to offer the customers the best possible solution.
