The "Pro Series" pistons are forged pistons originally created for professional riders in the most successful racing teams.
Team Kawasaki Ryan Villopoto, JGRMX with James Stewart and Team Procircuit are some who have used, and still currently use JE "Pro Series" pistons in their engines.
Now, the JE "Pro Series" is finally available to the public!
Each "Pro Series" piston has a dedicated and forged 2618-T6 aluminum that is specific to each motor for reduced weight and the maximum performance.
Pro Series pistons are lighter than other pistons but have inner and outer reinforcing bars to maximize strength and prevent fatigue. This gives the piston a much longer life span.
JE Pistons retain its leading position in piston manufacturing through continuous research and development of new materials, piston designs and manufacturing methods. The use of special computer-controlled machines enable JE to make each piece with the exact measurement specification that is required, sometimes right down to one ten thousandth of a millimeter (1/10 000 mm).
JE uses Finite Element Analysis (FEA), which is a data process that tests stress and fatigue on a computer model before the product goes into production to ensure that your product is of, by far, the highest quality before it is even manufactured.
For some bikes, you can choose between 2 and 3 piston rings.
The piston kit includes premium piston pins, piston pin clips and JE "Pro Seal" piston rings.
