Red Bull SPECT STRIVE-001 MX Goggles

Since 2016, Spect Eyewear has been developing and producing sports glasses in cooperation with Red Bull which are tailored to all kinds of outdoor pursuits including motocross and enduro bikers, and many others besides.

Their Strive design is a pair of MX goggles with a lens that is made from impact-resistant polycarbonate material, exceeding optical grade quality by adding propietary technology for enhanced contrasts and glare reduction. The thin frame is moulded from TPU material, a plastic which retains softness in all ambient temperatures, and will fit your face without leaving air gaps. The lens offers an up to 15% increased field of vision due to the thin frame which avoids the "tunnel view" which usually results from thicker frames where the lens is positioned further away from the face. The Ultra-Anti Fog inner lens withstands fogging over 180 seconds and exceeds the required standards of 30 seconds by factor 6. Air vents are covered with a thin PU foam that ensures an airflow through the goggles as well as preventing water or mud from entering. There is a noseguard included with an easy click-on/-off system.

The face foam of the Strive goggle comes with four layers with the first layer being made of hook-and-loop material which means dirty or damaged face foams can be easily replaced. The second layer two offers stability to the face/goggle connection by adding some stiffness and a softer foam layer then closes all air gaps and provides a comfortable fit. The top foam layer is very thin and soft, preventing chafing, skin irritation and reduces sweating. Instead of a foam layer that usually creates the airspace between the two lenses, the double lens has been laminated together to provide an unobstructed field of vision.
