Usually, the MX helmet provides good protection against straight impacts, but not as good against angled or rotational ones - which is often even more dangerous for your brain.

Therefore, MX-9 is equipped with Mips®️, which provides a unique protection against these types damages thanks to a special sliding layer. This layer temporarily and independently lets your head slide in the helmet, which will greatly reduce the damage to your head. A good life insurance, in other words!

The Bell MX-9 Mips is built with durable polycarbonate/ABS shells that provide good impact protection, Velocity Flow ventilation for good comfort with a removable and washable lining made of antibacterial material.
