The story of Nolan began in 1972 when Lander Nocchi, an avid entrepreneur in the automotive and motorcycle industry, decided to begin manufacturing motorcycle helmets. Nolan's founders set out to manufacture helmets that were lighter and cheaper than any other helmet that was available on the market at that time. Nocchi bought a new innovative plastic material from the United States, namely Lexan which is a lightweight and versatile material and began producing polycarbonate helmets. Over 40 years later, Nolan have achieved great success thanks to its technological expertise and continuous quest for innovation.
