Monster Energy is a energy drink which was originally launched by Hansen Natural Corporation 2002. Hansen Natural was founded in the 1930's by Hubert Hansen and his three sons who successfully made and sold soft drinks and juices. In 1988 the company was bought up by the California Co-packers and 2012 changed its name to Monster Beverage Corporation. Today, Monster Beverage Corporation is a leading marketer and distributor of energy drinks where Monster Energy is one of the world's most popular beverages. Monster markets itself primarily through sponsorship of many of the biggest events in extreme sports and their famous M logo is recognised by most people.
