SBS

SBS (Scandinavian Brake Systems) was founded in 1963 by engineer Henning Hansen of Odense of Denmark. The business, which was called OBTEC, worked on the renovation and repair of brake drums and brake shoes. During the 70s, the company expanded wide and a new factory was built in Svendborg, Denmark. The brand SBS introduced along with a number of asbestos-free brake pads for motorcycles. In 2003, changing its name to OBTEC Scandinavian Brake Systems and the continuing success of their manufacture. Today SBS is a world leading manufacturer of brake pads for motorcycle and motocross and they offer a full line of performance-enhancing brake pads developed to suit specific purposes such as street, off-road and racing.
