Be Prepared and Safe!

The most important thing when riding your dirtbike on a trail is not just that you bike is prepared, but that you are prepared as well. This includes making sure you have the proper equipment to not only fix problems that may occur on your bike, but the proper equipment to protect you as well. It is important to always wear safety gear. It could save you from potential injuries! Safety gear includes helmets, goggles, boots, and gloves… All of it! It is better to be safe than sorry. We are all about having a good time, but it's important that you practice safe habits whilst doing it.

Do not forget to do a quick inspection of your bike before you head out too. Make sure everything is in place and running smoothly. There is nothing worse than running into a problem in the middle of a trail that could have been fixed in the comfort of your own home!

Make Good Decisions!

When riding your bike it's important to always make smart decisions, because after all you are on a very powerful machine. Good decisions mean not riding when you are under the influence. We all know that alcohol and drugs impair your judgement; it can lead to you doing moves, speeds or jumps that you wouldn't normally do. It is not worth putting yourself or friends in jeopardy. There is enough time after the ride to share some cold ones with your buddies.

Speaking of buddies. Do not ride alone. For the simple fact that if something does happen, you have someone looking out for you and to help. Whether it is fixing your bike, getting the help you need or working together to solve a problem. Riding is always more fun when you are not alone anyway!

Stick to Those Trails!

Trails were designed for a reason… Use them! Trails are fun to ride, but what can be dangerous is trying to make your own path. You can think that it looks safe, but it may not be. It also keeps the sport fun for everyone else. Stay on the path… Stay where it is legal!

Make Sure Your Bike is Right!

You want to always make sure that your dirtbike is a right fit for you. Being on a dirtbike that is too powerful or big for you is just not a smart decision. Make sure you are buying the right bike for your weight and body strength. Make sure that if you are riding with younger kids, you make sure that are set up properly and once again safely.

Be Aware of Your Surroundings!

With any powerful motorsport the most important thing is to be aware of your surroundings. Always make sure to be looking ahead and around you. When you are on a dirtbike you want to always make sure you are alert and aware and, of course, go fast when it's appropriate. Trail riding is a great time for you and your friends. The most important thing is safety, because of your access to help when needed. Always stick together, be prepared and practice safe riding.
