TCX

Italian TCX was founded in 2006 with the original name Oxtar. After reaching a dispute with another Italian shoe manufacturer they changed the name to TCX. TCX is part of the parent company Novation Group, which also manufactures sports and leisure shoes. TCX is known for its patented Torsion Control System (TCS), which provides extra protection for the foot as it prevents twisting movements but allows normal movement of the foot. Most of the TCX design process is still done by hand so that they can manufacture boots for both off-road and road use on the same production line at the same time.
